Everything we do at New Beginnings Shih Tzu Rescue is to help the dogs, but we could not do that without YOU. Any donation, no matter what size, can help us in our mission to rescue & rehome, as many of these dogs that want nothing more than a home to give them shelter & love. 

115 New Beginnings dogs have found their forever homes last year! But before dogs like Charlie, Dell, Minnie, Bear & Oreo can settle into new homes, we make sure they are current on shots, address veterinary and grooming needs,  provide food and training to make sure they are ready to successfully transition to their forever home. All of those things are funded by donations! 

Our Paws N Hands program is 100% donor funded. It provides homes for dogs that have serious health or behavioral issues that prevent them from being adopted. Gizmo has been in the program since 2015 because of a heart murmur. His medication costs $600.00 per year. Clyde has also been in the program since 2015 because of  a tendency to bite. His grooming & veterinary costs are $500 annually. Buddy is the newest member of the Paws 'N Hands program due to his genetic heart murmur & having 17 teeth extracted. His evaluation, echo-cardiogram & dental work cost over $1,500.00. All of those dogs continue to live pampered lives thanks to our great donors
