 Everything we do at New Beginnings Shih Tzu Rescue is dedicated to helping dogs in need, and we could not do it without you. Every donation, regardless of size, supports our mission to rescue, care for, and rehome dogs who deserve a safe and loving forever home. 

 Last year, 130 New Beginnings dogs found their forever homes! Before dogs like Charlie, Dell, Minnie, Bear, and Oreo begin their new lives, we provide vaccinations, veterinary care, grooming, nutritious food, and training. Every step of their journey is made possible by generous donations. 

Our Paws N Hands program is 100% donor funded. It provides homes for dogs that have serious health or behavioral issues that prevent them from being adopted. Gizmo has been in the program since 2015 because of a heart murmur. His medication costs $600.00 per year. Clyde has also been in the program since 2015 because of  a tendency to bite. His grooming & veterinary costs are $500 annually. Buddy is the newest member of the Paws 'N Hands program due to his genetic heart murmur & having 17 teeth extracted. His evaluation, echo-cardiogram & dental work cost over $1,500.00. All of those dogs continue to live pampered lives thanks to our great donors
