What is the best home for each dog
Our adoption process consists of the completion of an application, a reference check, and a home visit.
We REQUIRE that ALL dogs/cats in the household be neutered or spayed and up to date on all vaccinations. We also require that dogs in the household be tested annually for Heart worm, and be on Heart worm Preventative.
WE REQUIRE ALL ADOPTERS TO TRAVEL TO MEET AND
ADOPT OUR DOGS. Our Foster Homes are located
In Wisconsin and Illinois.
We invite you to attend one of our events listed on our website to meet some of our available dogs.
Families with children under 8 years old
If you have children under 8 years old please send an email to bret@nbstr.org after submitting an application. In your email, tell us why you think your family may be a match for one of our rescue dogs. We always reserve the ability to place the correct dog with the correct family.
Prospective Meetings
Unfortunately, we are unable to set up an individual meeting between you and your prospective family member until the reference check has been successfully completed.
