We rescue on faith with the belief that every dog deserves to be loved. Our deciding factor on
whether or not a dog enters NBSTR is based on our space availability. All dogs are neutered, spayed, updated on shots, microchipped,
tested for heart-worm and placed on heart-worm medication. Our dogs also receive flea/tick preventive and are groomed. Many
of our dogs also need additional medical services due to the lack of regular veterinary examination. Often the adoption
fee does not cover the dog's expenses. So NBSTR hopes you understand that our adoption fees are not negotiable.
Our current adoption
$400 - Juvenile (0-4 years old)
$300 - Adult (5-8
$200 - Senior
(9+ years old)
If the adoption is for a
pair, lower the fee by $25 for each dog so that would be $50 less for the pair.
SENIORS FOR SENIORS
Often older dogs enter our rescue through no fault of their own. Their
owners are no longer able to care for them due to nursing home placement and/or medical conditions with increased severity.
Sadly, sometimes the dog has out lived its owner.
Because we believe that older dogs deserve to love and be loved, our Seniors to Seniors Program reduces the
adoption fee by 50% for a dog who 9 years old or older, if adopted by a senior who is 60 years old.
