Our Vision:
New Beginning Shih Tzu Rescue, Inc.
is a group of concerned individuals, families and businesses dedicated
to the interim care, rehabilitation, and placement in “forever”(permanent)
homes of dogs of the Shih Tzu breed that have been that
have been rescued from puppy mills, high-kill shelters and other abusive
situations or certain death as a stray or abandoned dog.

SPRING DONATION DRIVE Overwhelming Vet Bills
NBSTR has taken in dogs with major health problems,
ranging
from cancer, eye removals, hip surgeries, renal failure,
dogs needing
trainers, skin issues, countless senior special
needs dogs and spayed
or neutered, microchipped, and vetted
for those conditions which
are diagnosed during their time in foster care much more.
YTD, through the end of Sept 2009
we have spent $150,581 on vet care for our dogs. Only about
40% to 50% of these costs are covered by adoption fees. The remainder
comes from public support.. Please remember, all donations to NBSTR
are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by state and federal
law.
